Trading at the next Lough Neagh Artisans Market

Applications are now open for the next Lough Neagh Artisans Market, scheduled to take place on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th November 2022.  The Lough Neagh Artisans will take over the Christmas Market in Magherafelt, which will comprise of:
  • 30 craft traders
  • 28 food traders
  • 6 street food traders
The usual Christmas festivities will take place over the weekend with entertainment, Santa’s arrival, the Christmas lights switch on, fireworks and our market.  This is a significant event with an average footfall of 10,000 over the weekend.


Trading times:

Saturday 26th November 11am – 10:00pm

Sunday 27th November 1.30pm – 6:00pm

Street Food Trading Saturday 26th November 6:00pm – 10:00pm


Applications / Fees

The fee to trade at the market will be £60 per 3 x 3m pitch as well as a street trading licence fee of £25.  

  • Applications will close on Friday 9th September 2022.  Late applications will be rejected. 
  • Traders cannot apply for just one day of the market, with the exception of street food traders.
  • Lough Neagh Partnership reserves the right to invite late applications where a shortage of a particular type of trader arises
  • Applications will be assessed and all applicants informed of the outcome by the end of September
  • Acceptance and non-acceptance of applications will be at the sole discretion of Lough Neagh Partnership and will be based on information given by the applicant
  • Lough Neagh Partnership reserves the right to reject applications and not enter into any correspondence or otherwise explain reasons for its decision
  • Stall positions are at the discretion of Lough Neagh Partnership
  • Applications with missing documents will be rejected (risk assessments, insurance, food hygiene certificate)
  • Traders who miss the payment deadline will forfeit their space and it will be allocated to another applicant.


  • Traders will not be permitted to supply their own gazebos
  • Electricity will be provided, but must be requested at the application stage, please do not underestimate your electricity requirements, no generators will be permitted
