The Lough Neagh Artisans Market will take place on Sunday 14th August from 1.00pm to 5.00pm at Lock Keeper’s Cottage, Toome.
Visitors will also enjoy live music by local musicians; Malachi Johnston 1pm – 3pm, Catriona Lagan 3pm – 4pm and Enya Loughlin 4pm – 5pm

Gold & Browne’s, Randalstown
A member of Lough Neagh Artisans, Gold and Browne’s was established in May 2021 producing homemade, gourmet, gluten-free, Belgian chocolate brownies, all of which are baked fresh to order. Made with quality ingredients and no artificial flavours/additives. Gold and Browne’s provides a range of eight flavours.

Lock Keeper’s Cottage, Toome
A member of Lough Neagh Artisans and the venue for the first Lough Neagh Artisans Market, the picturesque cottage is a recently established interactive heritage centre and tea room looking out over the River Bann, renovated from an original lock keeper’s home in August 2017. It is perfect for a relaxing cup of tea or coffee as you watch the river amble along, or if you prefer, indulge in some of the many home-style baked scones or cakes after you take a stroll down the sunshine dappled Canal Walk. The Lock Keeper’s Cottage has been a triumph for hobbyists far and wide. An area of high biodiversity is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts and if canoeing is your passion, or for the many others who use this site to launch and return for great homemade food and hospitality.

Boat Trips
Lough Neagh’s Stories

We will provide “Lough Neagh Taster Boat Tours” suitable for all ages, including young families, every hour on the hour, between 1pm and 5pm. Guided commentary is included.
Pick-up will be from the outer pier at the lock-gate, midway along the Canal Walk – NOT from the pier outside The Lock-Keeper’s Cottage! Please follow the signage to the pier on the day.
Seats are £15 per adult and £10 per child (aged 3 – 18). Toddlers and babies are free of charge. *These special discount prices are for this family event.*

River Bann Tours

River Bann Tours will operate boat trips from the jetty at the Lockkeepers cottage commencing at 12 noon, tours will run every 30 minutes during the market.
