Background

Lough Neagh Artisans was formed in 2019 and operates as a collective of like-minded creatives who live within 10 miles of Lough Neagh. The group collaborates and inspires people with their foods, crafts, and experiences.

The group believes that there is a strong need for collaboration among Lough Neagh businesses which complement each other and the necessity to make excellent artisan products and services, including hospitality and experiential initiatives which are unique to this part of the world.

Trading at the Market

On 22 May, the first Lough Neagh Artisans Market will take place at Lock Keepers Cottage, Toome, a pilot funded by UK Community Renewal Fund.  Lough Neagh Artisans will be offering artisan foods and crafts and there will be cooking demonstrations, product sampling, live music and boat trips.

The event is open to the public and free to attend between 1.00pm and 5.00pm.
